How long will it take for my website to be live?
You can expect your WordPress website to be ready and live from 3-5 business days depending on DNS records.
This timeframe allows for DNS records (domainname.com) to update, these records can take up to 48 hours to update.
If you have an exsisting website (html, wix, godaddy etc) and we are performing a migration to WordPress, we will keep your site live while we clone the designs and content. Limiting downtime in some cases to no more than 30 mins.
Regardless of any technical gargon, any delays are limited to a day or two and our technicians will keep you informed and updated via email.
Do I have admin access to WordPress & my VPS?
Yes! You have full control and access of your WordPress Admin, Server Root access and Cloudflare DNS.
Once your website has been built and all final checks have been signed off, our techs will forward WordPress, SSH & SFTP administrator login credentials to you.
How can I edit my Website once it's live?
You can add or edit content on your website at any time using the Divi Builder by Elegant Themes. All our websites come with a Lifetime license with WordPress added to their site.
You can edit content by logging into your WP-Admin > navigate to the page you want to edit > click "Enable Divi Builder" and then let the creativity flow.
We recommend backing up your site with All-in-One WP Migration plugin. Keeping organised and incremental backups can help if you have corrupted backups or the unexpected happens.
Why would I want a single page website?
Single page websites are lightweight, which only need to load once, they get to the point and you can utalise anchor links for speedy navigation, increase page clicks and page interactions.
Most websites can get their message across with a single landing page. There's no need to Stlye a Privacy Policy so keep that in a PDF and use shared files to link to your PDF.
Better bang for your buck if you're paying a developer/web-designer(that's us), save time if you're building it yourself.
